we didn’t have a lot of luck with the weather today. kim and i left his place at around 10:30 this morning to do a 200 mile loop through the mountains. well, we got as far as 50 miles and then got pissed on from great heights. i had my all-weather gear on, but kim has none so we would have been wet and cold.

so, we popped back down the interstate 70 a ways and went for pizza for lunch at beau joes in oregon springs.

then ripped back on the interstate to red rocks. man what a cool concert venue. i remember watching U2’s Under a Blood Red Sky from Red Rocks in the early eighties. what an amazing show, so it was cool to go check out the venue. had i been here a week ago i could have seen a 2 1/2 hour show by the beastie boys.

What an awesome venue for concerts. There are tons of athletes running stairs and doing training in the facility

back to kim’s abode and a restful night. tomorrow i begin the trek back home to calgary. next stop, somewhere in Wyoming - hopefully.
