Preparing for Bike Trip 2007
This year’s motorcycle extravaganza begins August 15. I’ll be riding with a small group from the VFRDiscussion board from Calgary to Kelowna via the Crowsnest Pass. As a group we’ll be heading to Vancouver, Washington for the annual Pacific Northwest Honda VFR meet (VFR is the type of bike we all ride - different model years).
After a few days in the Vancouver area i’ll be heading off on my own for the remained of the trip which should have me returning around the 5th of September.
The goal is to travel 10,000+ kilometres in 3 weeks (give or take a day or two) and hit as many of the sights as possible. I’ll be venturing through California, possibly Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana.
I’ll be taking my computer along for a chronicle and photo essay of the trip on a daily basis. Should be fun.
