first marathon ride of the year.
yesterday i got my motor runnin’, and headed out on the highway, looking for adventure…
one of my marathon day routes - calgary to sundre to caroline to rocky mountain house to nordegg then the icefields parkway, lake louise (or luigi, as i like to call it) then back home. about 680 kilometres - rules - lunch, pee, gas and ride - that’s it.
fantastic day and ride, although i was freezing my knobblies off in the bow summit/bow glacier area - it was just above zero and starting to snow.
also saw a grizzly bear, really cool.
