only days after writing about the young person arrested here in calgary for possession of a weapon with intent to kill teachers and students an incident happened today in the US at Virginia Tech University.

i cannot believe that guns laws as a right, from 1776 as part of the constitution, are still considered a fundamental right of citizenship. surely, the US founding fathers never intended to allow the average human to walk around with a semi-automatic weapon that can wipe out 22 lives (edit: death toll rising) and injure several others.
