it’s supposed to snow later today, but i thought i’d ride to school this morning.
perhaps a bit too cold for riding – it’s minus 5 celcius, plus the windchill. makes for a chilly 4 kilometre ride.

well, after intermittent weeks of snow and relatively nice weather, this weekend has been beautiful. still cool on the highway but nice enough to go for a short spin.
it’s my ’short loop’ ride. highway 8 to highway 22 across to cochrane and back to the city. it’s about 75 kilometres return.

ah, the first snow and ice free warm day of the year. you know what that means – out come the motorcycles. it’s been absolutely gorgeous all weekend, but our alley still had ice until yesterday.

my little school companion (small stanley), the macintosh G3 400 PowerBook laptop, has served me well. i bought it in 2000 when it was the second fastest laptop. well, i’m still using it today, even to post this very entry.
