how’s this for an investment -
this semester’s textbooks - $420.00
the bookstores of universities offer a buy-back program with “up to 50% back” from the original price.
actual money returned from buy back program - $38.00
apparently the poor book companies change their editions annually so most books are only good for one semester each year, not much demand for used books.
that is a close to extortion as one can get, it’s also painfully like having a splintered stick stuck up your back-hole.
