Superfunkomatic - Observations of the Socially Inept

the tank and fairing for my bike have now been repaired and painted. there are a few small blemishes which will be fixed before the final clear coat of paint, but it looks awesome. they say good things come to those that wait, well i waited, and it looks damn good.

it’s impossible to tell that the tank was completely caved in on both sides. not a ripple, not a wave, nothing. it looks like a brand new tank.

the fairing was cracked by the bastards at UPS when they shipped it. hey UPS, fragile means, fragile - ie. do not break. now you can’t even tell it had scratches, a shitty old paint job before and sun fading.

all that’s left are the decals which go on next week or the following week. i’m mounting the tank to do a last check on the mechanical stuff, but basically it’s ready to be ridden.
