Superfunkomatic – Observations of the Socially Inept

every once in a blue moon a band, and a song, come along and really grab you by the short and curlies. we’ll i’d suggest one such band is Matt Mays and El Torpedo. A band out of halifax, nova scotia. Shades of neil young and tom petty, with a bit of sandy grit thrown in for good measure.

If you listen to Cocaine Cowgirl and it doesn’t stir something raw and passionate in you, then i might suggest you have an ECG done to make sure there is a functioning heart and soul inside. This is the real shit, and it only comes along ever so often.
