google has more tricks up it’s sleeve
months back google announced that they were cataloguing a large swath of video content, hosted by them with vague content requirements.
it’s online in a beta format now, but no one is quite sure what the goal of the project is, and there is little if any accompanying info on the site. it requires no additional software and runs with the flash plugin in a browser window, and is scalable to fit your window size.
until a given time the entire new chris rock tv pilot episode is available in it’s entirety.http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7009072046598012257
could be the first step towards tv and IP convergence. we’ll have to wait and see. or watch and see in this case.
