If it’s not scottish it’s crap
another WTF moment this weekend.
does every add released in canada now have to have someone speaking in a fake scottish accent?
apparently ad execs everywhere are conspiring against the public - “scottish is funny, and damnit you’ll like it”.
scottish animated pieces of gum, scottish race car couples for honda cars, scottish people talking about outmeal and a ridiculous series of commericals for alexander keith’s beer which is so far from funny that it’s, well just not funny.
why a scottish accent alone would be considered funny in itself is beyond me. maybe they saw mike myers’ “so i married an axe-murder” and though they could be equally adept at comedy writing - unfortunately the results are leagues apart.
