Superfunkomatic – Observations of the Socially Inept

okay this is the ridiculous approaching the sublime…
parents in the US, and presumably Canada (although there have been no similar reports i’ve seen), upset over the sexually explicit content in a popular video game.

now i’m not a genius (i’ve claimed this in several postings in the past) but what part of “grand theft auto” did parents think would be good for raising their children? to my knowledge grand theft auto is a high crime with a jail term. the game is riddled with brutal violence – people being bludgeoned, beaten to death and attacked in their vehicles. but parents are upset with graphic sex scenes.

once again parents should be responsible for their children’s actions – if they find it objectionable or offensive turn the machine off and remove the game – take them to the new movie – “dukes of hazzard” for some good downhome family values.
